The Corporation’s charitable purpose includes relief of the poor, the distressed, or the underprivileged; advancement of religion; advancement of education or science; erecting or maintaining public buildings, monuments, or works; lessening the burdens of government; lessening neighborhood tensions; eliminating prejudice and discrimination; defending human and civil rights secured by law; and combating community deterioration.
In carrying out such exempt purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, the Corporation may engage in any lawful act, activity or business not contrary to and in which a nonprofit corporation may engage under Chapter 1702 of the Ohio Revised Code, including, but not limited to, the following:
